So photography has become one of my favorite hobbies besides drinking coffee, cooking, writing a blog, reading books, and listening to music. It has become my favorite hobby recently. I guess it is because I have been traveling quite often and I want to capture all those beautiful moments and keep those memories in the photographs. I am also inspired by my friends whom I have been traveling with. They always took very good pictures. My friends asked me how could I have such nice pictures to post on my Instagram and Facebook? I proudly told them that my friends took them for me.

However, I am still in a very beginning of learning how to take a good picture. I thought it was easy by just grab a camera, go out, and shoot. While it is actually more than just a shooting. It indeed needs a lot of commitment, effort, skill, and experience. It requires a knowledge of using a camera in manual mode, a good balance/angle/time to produce a good picture. I am still struggling with balancing shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. LOL.

Learning those skills is undeniably complicated but fun. I need more practice to become an amateur photographer (definitely not a professional photographer) 😀 From enjoying to be taken by my friends now I enjoy taking pictures of others. I want to take good pictures of them. I guess from now on I won’t have many good pictures to post on my Instagram account. Lol.

Photography is also a good excuse for me to travel more. So that, I can take various kinds of picture. Because I am interested in shooting landscape and random pictures so traveling alone is the best option for me. I have been traveling alone to few places to learn how to take pictures. Spring is my first subject of shooting. I have been searching for good places to take beautiful pictures of spring. In the next post, I will some pictures from my first-time-ever shooting. 😀
